Jacadis gave a presentation to the Ohio Safety Congress Wednesday titled "Identity Theft In the Workplace – Are you safe at work?" Our presentation focused on giving manager’s and information owners some tools to evaluate whether their organizations safely protect employee data. We had a number of audience members that attended because they had a personal brush with ID theft or because of personal concern. Privacy Rights Clearinghouse a non-profit focused on many privacy related issues including ID theft at http://www.privacyrights.org/identity.htm
You may also want to visit the websites of your state attorney general, your bank and other financial institutions for additional, more personally focused resources.
